"The finest Champagne was never meant to be enjoyed alone."

An Invitation
I've noticed something.
People rarely buy a seat at a tasting because of the Champagne.
They're curious about the stories.
The conversations.
The people they'll meet around the table.
That's why every Luxe Maha event begins long before the first glass is poured.

A Coastal Pour
Wednesday, 22 July 2026
I noticed something.
Many people know the labels.
Few know the stories.
This July, we'll follow the South Coast through Champagne and the remarkable people behind each bottle.
Our day begins at Wollongong Lighthouse, where a light breakfast and our first Champagne will be served overlooking the ocean.
From there, we'll travel south to Bald Hill, before continuing to Kiama and one of the region's most iconic landmarks, the Blowhole.
Along the way, we'll open three bottles, each with a story worth telling.
A Marquis who refused to abandon his family's château.
A young widow who changed Champagne forever.
And an unexpected connection between Champagne and an Australian doctor whose name became one of the country's most recognised wine labels.
Lunch will be served at Emery Creek, where conversation continues long after the final pour.
Because Champagne becomes far more interesting when you understand the people who made it possible.
