Explore Champagne Stories at The Coastal Pour

A Coastal Pour

Champagne, Stories and the South  Coast

Some experiences begin when you arrive.

The Coastal Pour begins the moment you see the ocean.

Our morning starts at Wollongong Lighthouse, where the Pacific stretches to the horizon and the day is still wonderfully quiet. As guests arrive, breakfast is waiting, fresh almond croissants, continental pastries, thoughtfully prepared and presented in a Luxe Maha breakfast box.

With your first glass of Champagne in hand, there is no rush.

People introduce themselves.

The conversations begin naturally.

It doesn't feel like joining a tour.

It feels like being welcomed into someone's day.

From there, we step aboard a luxury limousine and leave the city behind.

As the limousine winds its way across the Sea Cliff Bridge, the coastline unfolds beside us. Cliffs rise above the ocean, waves roll beneath the bridge and, almost without realising it, strangers begin talking like old friends.

Our next stop is Bald Hill.

It isn't simply a lookout.

It's a place that reminds you to slow down.

Guests wander with their cameras, laugh together, watch hang gliders lift effortlessly into the sky and take photographs against one of Australia's most spectacular coastal backdrops.

There is never any pressure to hurry.

The day unfolds at its own pace.

As we continue south, conversations deepen.

Each Champagne is introduced through the people who created it.

Not simply the grape varieties, dosage or technical notes.

You'll meet a Marquis, discover the remarkable determination of Barbe-Nicole Clicquot, and uncover unexpected stories that changed the way Champagne is made and enjoyed today.

Many guests tell us this is the moment everything changes.

The bottle becomes more than a label.

It becomes a story.

Our journey continues to Kiama, where the famous Blowhole reminds us that nature has a way of capturing everyone's attention, no matter how many times you've visited.

Then we make our way to Emery Creek.

This is where the day slows again.

A beautifully prepared picnic lunch awaits beneath the trees, surrounded by water, birdsong and the relaxed atmosphere that only comes from spending time outdoors with good company.

There is no agenda.

No formalities.

Just wonderful food, exceptional Champagne and conversations that seem to become richer with every pour.

By the end of the afternoon something unexpected has happened.

People who met only hours earlier are exchanging phone numbers, sharing stories from their own lives and already asking when the next experience will be.

That is the Coastal Pour.

Not simply a journey along one of Australia's most beautiful coastlines.

A reminder that some of life's best days happen when beautiful places, remarkable Champagne and genuine conversation come together.
